I recently adjusted my challenge rules to not time track my sketches anymore but to set a time limit in which the sketch will be completed or I have to abort. For now I’ve set up 10 minutes because the last few sketches where in about this amount of time. Also I do not pre draw anything with pencil, I just use my two ball pens (0.5 and 0.7) so I am not able to lose myself in correcting things – once a mistake happened it’s there forever. When the time is over I will give the sketch a little review to recognize where things went wrong and where it I had difficulties to get on paper what I saw. While writing this I think it would be also nice to write this thoughts down for reading it later but I am not sure if I will be able to do this every day. However – new rules, a lot to sketch so let’s get it on!
